Position Summary

The Capital Equipment Planning Manager is an exciting opportunity developing equipment planning standards and business plans for the purchase/lease of capital equipment, fixtures and furnishings for capital construction projects from conception through completion. In this role you will lead the RFP process, obtain bids, and negotiate for all capital project plans and budgets.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and implement the capital sourcing strategy and plan
  • You will develop and maintain equipment planning standards, as well as related standards for fixtures and furnishings, in collaboration with operational owners
  • You will work with clinical key stakeholders on standardization of supplies and capital equipment; maintains equipment list

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, administration, construction, or related field, OR Master’s Degree, OR Advanced degree in Business Administration (MBA), or Healthcare Administration (MHA)
  • Procurement certification
  • Minimum three (3) years of experience in equipment planning procuring and sourcing equipment and managing multiple complex projects concurrently
  • Minimum two (2) years of equipment sourcing experience
  • Healthcare experience preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $86,944.00 - $125,091.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
