Compensation Range: $21-25 per hour
Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience

Job Description

Anew Era TMS & Psychiatric multi-clinic practice is looking for a qualified candidate to join our fast-growing company. Anew Era TMS prides itself with its close culture, clinical excellence, while focusing on helping patients sustain their mental health wellness goals and bringing a new sense of hope to those that are suffering. Most positions in our organization offer exciting opportunities for advancement. 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Billing Resolution Lead & Practice Manager
  • Work as liaison between region and billing team to resolve any billing issues
  • Collaborate with biller and respond to biller inquiries in a timely manner 
  • Responsible for sorting EOBs received in office, auditing, and sending to biller
  • Processing insurance credit card payments received
  • Processing patient refunds and insurance recoupments
  • Completing deposit slips accurately and preparing checks for deposit
  • Checking patient balances and credits for accuracy
  • Working with TMS manager regarding any TMS claim issues
  • Auditing billing errors
  • Insurance verification as needed
  • Follow up with insurances regarding claims as needed
  • Interact with all medical receptionists in a positive and collaborative manner


 

Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in medical billing preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills 2-3 years
  • Mental health experience preferred 
  • Insurance knowledge, ICD-10 and CPT codes familiarity, and insurance verification experience required
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced growing environment
  • Excellent communication skills in person and over the phone
  • Organization skills and detail oriented
  • Time management to manage a variety of tasks
  • Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients
