UKI Leader and EMEA Program Coordinator
Environmental, Health and Safety

   To £69000 per annum

Come lead our EHS Team in a pivotal role across the UK, Ireland, and EMEA!

What is the purpose of the role?

Your role is to ensure we have appropriate resources, practices and policies in place that uphold the health and safety of all employees, contractors and visitors .
You’ll be reviewing and consolidating our support activities across fixed facilities and field activities to drive environmental compliance and improvement.
In a wider aspect, your activities will drive EHS culture across EMEA to give a consistent approach in contractor management, and mobile treatment units deployment, where you will implement best practices and EHS standards, working in line with our EHS Framework 

What are the day-to-day duties?

  • Mentor and develop members of the EHS team in the UKI region
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the health and
  • safety of all employees, contractors and visitors
  • Provide advice and guidance to the Divisional EHS representatives.
  • Support the implementation and compliance with Global and Local
  • environmental policies and procedures
  • Manage the Environmental Compliance program to align with our multifaceted approach
  • Monitor, review, analyse and report business statistics, objectives and targets
  • Ensure resources are at their optimum by coordinating and promoting Divisional collaboration.
  • Report and investigate EHS accidents and incidents
  •  Deliver EHS training 
  • Support business leaders to meet targets
  • Provide advice and guidance on EHS regulatory aspects.
  • Measure and adhere to budgets 
  • Manage and maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications.
  • Support the business to maintain LCA, SafeContractor, Constructionline, CHAS certification et al
  • Coordinate a consistent approach to Contractor Management across the
  • EMEA region including qualification, processes and tools and contractor
  • Development
  • Support cross country governance
  • Support ITO and pre installation EHS assessments
  • Support EMEA initiatives for the development of the EHS Culture

Qualifications

What background will you likely have?

  • Either a degree in engineering / science or time served in EHS
  • Qualification or experience in Environmental, Health & Safety
  • Previous success in a similar role
  • Strong experience of EHS management systems, particularly ISO 14001 and 45001
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ideally an understanding of water and water hygiene or from an industry with good transferable skills
