Position:            Principal Product Specialist (job code 88617)

Duties:              Oversee technical support of company customers by field engineers/technicians who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, or repairing systems/applications. Serve as a product expert for proprietary AI/ML based Discovery product. Provide strategic consulting to enterprise customers on processes including integration, site optimization and AI tuning. Recognize customer specific needs and make recommendations. Algorithmically, analyze trends and patterns in cases and customer feedback on an ongoing basis to address customer pain points proactively. Prepare and conduct regular meetings to review business needs and taking corrective actions. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to drive issue resolution. Collaborate with our Digital Experience Manager to craft winning strategies. Perform root cause analysis of issues and help customers get the most out of the Bloomreach Discovery software. Communicate complex technical issues via email and in person. Take ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolution.

Education Required:           Bachelor or foreign equivalent in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field.

Experience Required:           6 years progressive experience as Lead Solution Engineer, Associate System Analyst, Software Engineer or related occupation.

Special Requirements:     Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

  1. AI/ML modeling and tuning
  2. IAM, AWS, Grafana, Sumologic, Datadog, Nexla, Qubole, SOLR, Blazemeter, Kibana, Auth0 or A/B testing
  3. Core Java and Java libraries and frameworks
  4. RESTful Web Services and API regex
  5. Database querying including SQL, Big Query, Cassandra and Amazon Redshift
  6. Working with integration patterns and frameworks including Apache Camel and Spring Integration
  • Position permits telecommuting.

Salary:               $121,905 - $182,857 per year
