We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our regional EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) New Business Team in leading and winning regional pitches, with a focus on clients headquartered in Germany / DACH cluster.

Job Description

EMEA is a large and complex region within the dentsu global business, spanning 50 countries and 7000 people delivering media services to thousands of local (country-specific), pan-region and global clients. Working with local dentsu Media teams and the EMEA New Business Team, you will own the day-to-day client relationship and all elements of delivery, including creation and implementation of the strategic vision, delivery against financial targets and building a relationship with the client. You are passionate about the impact that media can have on a client’s business and have an ability to build relationships and gain trusted advisor status through an understanding of client requirements. You attract and mobilise top drawer talent that both meets clients’ needs and gels as a successful agency team. You are forward thinking and highly commercial about new and profitable ways to deliver media services to clients. You have your finger on the pulse of both what is happening in the media and communications industry and within the dentsu network, applying this knowledge to create solutions that deepen and extend client-agency relationships and drive commercial success for dentsu. You already have a track record of success in developing and building client relationships at a regional/global level. You feel ready to take the next step into a more dynamic role with greater opportunity for personal learning and growth.

Qualifications

You will report to the Chief Operating Officer for Media in DACH and you will bring:

• Experience managing senior client relationships independently

• Highly commercial - selling value, negotiation, client experience establishing communication and engagement with prospects, being a trusted business advisor

• Mobilise and motivate talent quickly, building teams to deliver winning work in short timeframes

• Experienced business development and client service leader, an accomplished negotiator with experience increasing client portfolios and driving revenue

• At least 5 years of experience identifying, pitching, negotiating, closing and renewing deals of all types

• Experience establishing communication and engagement with team members at all levels of the company and with the ability to flex communication style and approach depending on the audience and outcomes required

• Ability to coach matrix teams

• Thinking and doing – the ability to come up with big ideas and to be happy completing detailed commercial submissions

• European languages desirable, but not essential

• A technical expert and a leader, understands and operates using the Dentsu 8 Ways
