Operations Project Manager - Medicare Readiness

Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States.

Position Purpose: Ensure success of Medicare Organization by driving and influencing project and overall performance of a host of functional areas. Responsible for effective vertical and horizontal cross functional communication focusing on all matters that impact new year benefits launches annually. Run multiple simultaneous projects through various functional areas by focusing on timely deliverables, validation, and adherence of key performance metrics.

• Manage multiple full Medicare Readiness project life cycle (Annually) including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, and facilitating project execution, deployment, and closure
• Manage group of functional areas’ performance throughout projects utilizing review of key performance indicators.
• Identify issues, develop, and lead action and/or mitigation plans to address performance issues in partnership with Shared Services areas
• Identify and execute cross functional deliverables and annual process improvement in assigned functional areas as part of Readiness Projects
• Monitor and ensure timely and well-thought testing is executed within assigned functional areas to drive issue prevention
• Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders including leadership, may include written executive summaries

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 4+ years’ experience years in Medicare Operations, and/or experience in a functional role such as communications, project management. Master’s degree preferred

License/Certification: PMP. PgMP, CAPM, or Six Sigma preferred.
