1. Manage the organization’s physical and virtual servers and server virtualization tools based on technology strategies dictated by the Infrastructure Manager.
2. Oversee cloud server platforms, all cloud resources (Azure, AWS, etc.), micro-infrastructure services like Office 365, and various services offered by Microsoft Tenant (Exchange, Teams, etc.).
3. Manage Active Directory by creating and controlling Organizational Units (OUs) in Windows Server 2019, in coordination with the IT OPERATIONS and HR departments, and monitor and control the structure of these OUs in the Active Directory.
4. Handle escalated cases from the IT OPERATIONS area related to requests or incidents impacting both Cloud and On-Premises server infrastructure, providing solutions to these requirements or incidents.
5. Document procedures, configurations, and processes related to managing both Cloud and On-Premises servers in the implemented Knowledge Database (KDB) (Confluence).
6. Manage GPOs (Group Policy Objects) to enable or disable operating system components for various OUs and manage Cloud platforms with equivalent functions like UEM (Unified Endpoint Manager) according to organizational policies.
7. Administer services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NPS, SMTP, LDAP, AAA, and any other services the organization demands in coordination with the NetOps Coordinator.
8. Manage the licensing of devices and server platforms with providers, as well as contracts with associated service providers (Azure, Office 365), and handle any additional purchases of devices and licenses required according to IT Infrastructure strategies.
Requirements
3-5 years of experience as an IT SYSOPS Infrastructure Coordinator.
· Advanced English B2+/C1 is required for this position.
· An advanced level of Excel and experience in Database Management (SQL) and development languages such as ANSIBLE, PYTHON, and Node.JS is essential.
· Bachelor's degree in telecommunications engineering, systems and informatics, or electronic engineering
Schedule: Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturday, during office hours (Colombian Time).
