What Are We Looking For?

Contentstack is looking for an incredible Group Product Manager to lead our flagship CMS product. By navigating the competitive market, interviewing users, measuring product usage, researching new technology and understanding best practices for CMS workflows, you will be the subject matter expert on content management. A deep understanding of crafting digital experiences for the web, coupled with a strong vision for what large businesses need to gain an edge. This role has the opportunity to combine stellar entrepreneurial vision with highly adaptive execution and great communication with internal and external parties. If you’re looking for an opportunity to join an innovative, fun and fast-paced team where your contributions will have a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you! Here's what you'll be doing:

  • Own Contentstack’s CMS roadmap and product outcome
  • Partner closely with a brilliant engineering team to build a winning roadmap to help Contentstack complete the content lifecycle
  • Conduct competitive research to keep us a step ahead of the competition and contribute content for competitive sales and marketing campaigns
  • Partner with our sales engineers and solutions architects to ensure they’re equipped with solutions and training as well as gather feedback from them on real customer implementations
  • Help incubate new services and products to make Contentstack an ergonomic and enjoyable tool in the developer’s toolbox
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and implement data-driven activities for improving conversions and engagements

What Really Gets Us Excited About You?

  • 10+ years of experience as a product manager for enterprise software (ideally SaaS) products
  • 5+ years of REST and GraphQL-based app development and modern development architectures
  • Extensive experience with agile development practices and modern product management tools
  • Technical acumen to understand how developers build for the web today
  • Experience with CMS terminology and tools, such as WordPress, Contentful and Adobe Experience Manager is a huge plus
  • Insatiable curiosity about the future of web development
  • The ability to be a team player as well as to clearly articulate, educate, engage, inspire, influence, and make people smile
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to turn complex concepts into simple ideas, and ambiguity into clarity; able to effectively communicate technical concepts to a variety of audiences
  • Some travel will be required

Salary for this role ranges between $190,000 - 215,000 based on skill set and experience

What Do We Offer?

Interesting Work | We hire curious trendspotters and brave trendsetters. This is NOT your boring, routine, cushy, rest-and-vest corporate job. This is the “challenge yourself” role where you learn something new every day, never stop growing, and have fun while you’re doing it.

Tribe Vibe | We are more than colleagues, we are a tribe. We have a strict “no a**hole policy” and enforce it diligently. This means we spend time together - with spontaneous office happy hours, organized outings, and community volunteer opportunities. We are a diverse and distributed team, but we like to stay connected.

Bragging Rights | We are dreamers and dream makers. Our efforts pay off and we work with the most prestigious brands, from big-name retailers to airlines, to professional sports teams. Your contribution will make an impact with many of the most recognizable names in almost every industry including ASICS, Chase, Steve Madden, Holiday Inn, Icelandair, Mattel, Mitsubishi, Riot Games, Shell, and many more!

One Team One Dream | This is one of our values, and it shows. We don’t believe in artificial hierarchies. If you’re part of the tribe, you have an opportunity to contribute. Your voice will be heard and you will also receive regular updates about the business and its performance. Which, btw, is through the roof, so it’s a great time to be joining…
