Your missions

As a Tech Lead, you will play a critical role in leading and guiding BreederDAO’s technical projects, ensuring they are delivered successfully and on time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across various software disciplines, guide developers, and provide expertise to drive the development and evolution of our software systems.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development team in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to team members, fostering their professional growth.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and robust software systems.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure that best practices and coding standards are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, optimizing system performance.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, making recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in development processes and practices.
- Manage and prioritize technical debt and ensure it is addressed in a timely manner.
- Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a software developer with a track record of delivering complex software projects.
- Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end Javascript web development frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and development best practices.
- Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward challenges.

Nice to have, but not required:
- Prior experience in a leadership role, such as team lead, technical lead, or similar.
- Familiarity with game development in Unreal Engine 5, and with 3d model processing and manipulation.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Python web development frameworks, such as Flask.
