We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive our brand to new heights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in marketing within the technology sector, with a particular focus on software development, security, cloud, and data services. This role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance our brand presence, generate leads, and support business growth.

 

Your activities will include:

  1. Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive positioning.
  • Brand Management:
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of the company's brand identity and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
    • Create and manage brand guidelines to ensure brand consistency in all marketing efforts.
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Manage the company's online presence, including website development, content management, and SEO/SEM strategies.
    • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
  • Lead Generation:
    • Develop and implement lead generation strategies to attract and convert prospects into clients.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to create and optimise lead nurturing campaigns.
  • Content Marketing:
    • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, white-papers, case studies, and videos, to engage and educate our target audience.
    • Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent flow of relevant content.
  • Event Management:
    • Plan and execute company events, including webinars, conferences, trade shows, and networking events.
    • Manage event logistics, including budgeting, promotion, and post-event follow-up.
  • Public Relations:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and partners.
    • Create and distribute press releases, articles, and other PR materials to enhance the company's visibility.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on marketing metrics, ROI, and areas for improvement.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the technology sector.
    • Proven experience in marketing software development, security, cloud, and data services.
    • Strong understanding of digital marketing, lead generation, and content marketing strategies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
    • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software, and analytics platforms.
    • Strong project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
