Description

Capio is seeking a Director of Program Management to report to the Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence. This pivotal role involves leading the Program Management Office (PMO) and overseeing the coordination of multiple programs within Capio. The Director of Program Management is integral to strategic planning, resource allocation, risk management, and ensuring that all programs align with the organization's goals and objectives. Success in this role requires strong leadership, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex project portfolios to ensure they are completed on time and within scope.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations/Program Management, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in program management, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large-scale programs.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency in work management software such as Asana.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% as required by the role.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Develop and implement program management strategies that align with the organization's goals.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of projects from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects meet business objectives and deliver value.
  • Align departments on shared key objectives and continuous improvement efforts.

Program Oversight and Coordination:

  • Manage and coordinate a portfolio of projects across various departments.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure projects are progressing according to plan.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts within and between projects or departments.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Facilitate stakeholder meetings and ensure clear communication channels.

Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of program and project managers.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
  • Promote continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Establish metrics and KPIs to measure program and project performance.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for executive leadership.
  • Implement best practices and ensure consistency in project management processes.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: Range – $120,000-$135,000
  • Bonus Structure: Up to 25% of Base Salary, upon achievement of company determined MBOs
  • Position is Exempt, with Paid Holidays and Vacation Time-off
  • 401(K) Available (with matching, after three months of employment)
