With that vision in mind, we are looking for a Certification Engineer - Airworthiness to join our Certification team. The primary objective of the Certification Team at Wisk is to ensure that we achieve Type Certification, Production Certification and gain Operator approval under Part 135. The goal of the Certification Engineer - Airworthiness at Wisk is to help define a path to build and certify the first fully autonomous all-electric aircraft that performs and operates safely in an urban air-mobility environment.
This position is Remote in the US and will require travel to as needed.
Why we need you:The successful candidate is effective at developing and implementing cross-functional processes, to support the integration of design, production, and certification efforts across the organization. Candidates must be proactive, self-motivated, and forward thinking individuals that can lead engineers through critical regulatory requirements. We are seeking highly knowledgeable technical leaders, with hands-on experience in developing certifiable aircraft from initial concept through to Type and Production Certification. In this role, the ability to interface and communicate effectively across all engineering functions is required.
