Jr. Business Analyst

This role will support the Client Services department as a Junior Business Analyst by participating in a functional and technical capacity in all phases of project life cycle and ongoing support, and maintenance of Companys MediaCloud. This person continuously gains an understanding of the media supply chain and how systems are used in support of their business workflows.

Responsibilities

• Learns new business domain and media supply chain processes.
• Schedules and coordinates requirements gathering sessions.
• Uses tools and techniques to elicit requirements for projects of low to moderate complexity.
• Analyzes requirements, creates documents, and contributes to software development lifecycle.
• Participates in the creation of user stories, test plans, and test scripts.
• Configures software to fulfill business needs.
• Supports on-boarding and training of news users onto the system.
• Adheres to department standards, policies, procedures, and industry best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Training

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering and related fields
• 2 years of business analysis or equivalent experience
• 2 years year of experience defining user requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in statistics, data analysis, and reporting
• 1-2 years of experience in defining metadata, taxonomy, and related methodologies
