Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Risk & Compliance Specialist for a 12 month contract position. This position can be 100% remote.

Project Overview:
As part of a team with a mission to power People Ops to deliver exceptional customer service you will assume ownership and end to end responsibility over risk & compliance initiatives for the vendor portfolio. Overall Responsibilities:

Lead and implement a new access infrastructure program and provisioning process for outsourcing engagements
Partner cross-functionally with engineering teams, tool/data owners, and operations teams to identify ways to enhance existing access infrastructure and enable new opportunities with greater security
Manage the annual risk assessment cycle and facilitate the development of risk remediation plans
Maintain our compliance inventory and help mitigate all identified risks
Implement the penetration testing framework and working with external providers to conduct testing where required
Manage cross functional relationship with vendor partners on Extended Workforce onboarding processes and Vendor Security Assessment programs
Implement best practice risk management activities across the team

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications:

10+ years of project management and operations experience.
Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Experience with global risk projects, compliance programs, and solutions.
You are detail oriented with hands-on experience creating program project plans and active management of program RAID (risks, action items, issues, dependencies & decisions) logs.
Your communication skills create effective engagement with stakeholders and leadership

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications:

Master's degree in a related field (Accounting/Finance, Legal, Risk & Compliance)
Experience with common control frameworks; risk assessments, and regulatory review and compliance requirements analysis
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills and attention to detail with experience solving problems across multiple functions and stakeholders
Strong analytic capacity and experience in the operationalization and/or development of scalable solutions and structure within a complex environment
Demonstrated project management and support capabilities, interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills, and ability to challenge
Developed written and verbal communication skills and ability to apply these in a wide variety of situations, including executive briefings
Experience with outsourcing (including offshore) agreements and running end-to-end operations.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is: $28.50 – $35.62
