What Nonstop is Looking For:

A Training & Education Coordinator who is organized, driven, and eager to learn, as well as bilingual in Spanish and English. The person in this role must be based on the West Coast of the US and be willing to travel around the US as needed. In this role, you will support the Training and Education team with the production of benefits guides and other open enrollment materials (written and audio); production of other member education materials (written and audio); coordination of client open enrollment and other member education meetings; and organizing materials storage and distribution.


Strong attention to detail, an innate sense of resourcefulness, solid communication skills, and confidence and diplomacy when working with various personalities are imperative to be successful in this position. Exceptional time management skills are also a must, as is a strong desire to learn and grow with our team. Our ideal candidate has a background in health insurance, is willing to travel, demonstrates a high level of organization, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support the Training and Education team with meeting scheduling, coordination, and coverage
  • Production of benefits guides for Nonstop’s clients, including coordination of printing as needed
  • Support open enrollment meetings for new and renewing clients, including hosting/co-hosting meetings, creating open enrollment presentations (based on a template), and recording open enrollment videos
  • Support the team with the storage and distribution of member education materials, including coordination with our printing house to order materials for clients
  • Support the Training and Education team by hosting/co-hosting employee ongoing education meetings and webinars, and recording educational videos
  • Creation and storage of annual member compliance documents (using a provided template), maintaining compliance with ERISA standards
  • Creation of member/client/broker distribution lists for newsletters, surveys, and one-off member notifications
  • Order raffle prizes and other swag/giveaways for surveys, client meetings, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Requirements

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in marketing or customer service, ideally related to health insurance
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (written and verbal) *required
  • Proven experience with customer/member education, ideally related to health insurance
  • A strong desire to learn and build both content creation and presentation skills
  • Appetite for balancing competing priorities and working with multiple teams simultaneously
  • Self-starter who is comfortable asking for help when needed
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and remotely
  • Strong problem-resolution skills and communication abilities
  • Demonstrated go-getter attitude with a strong desire to grow with Nonstop and support our mission
  • Travel 20% or more during peak seasons
  • Experience with Google Suite (especially Google Slides/Docs/Sheets); bonus (although not required) if you also have skills with the Adobe Design Suite, iMovie (or comparable), Sogo Survey (or comparable), and/or MailChimp

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer per day.
  • Repetitive use of fingers, hands, elbows, and arms including typing, reaching, grasping, and writing.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and carry 5-30 pounds occasionally.
  • Hearing and speaking ability sufficient to carry on a conversation with another individual (or groups of individuals) in person and over the telephone and video communication.
  • Visual ability is sufficient to read and produce printed material and information displayed on a computer screen.
