POSITION OVERVIEW 

The Ad Operations Coordinator II is responsible for partnering with account teams on Amazon initiatives while focused on managing digital advertising campaigns within the Amazon DSP console. The position requires the candidate to be technical with campaign setup, monitoring performance, and optimizing to yield results while maintaining high efficiency and accuracy. The ideal candidate will be tactical, strategic, self-motivated, analytically inclined, and possess excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multitask and find ways to streamline campaign executions in a fast-paced environment will be a vital aspect of the role. 

Responsibilities/Accountabilities 

  • Utilization of Amazon tools, Amazon DSP console, other programmatic platforms, and internal reporting tools  
  • Strategic approach to campaign setup, launch, and monitor various campaigns including display, online video, CTV, audio, and connected devices  
  • Recognize, ideate, and act on areas of opportunity to improve operational efficiencies 
  • Ability to lead, support, and rollout Amazon solutions from an operational perspective 
  • Mentor and train new associates 
  • Develop, build, and apply audiences based on account team specifications and brand objectives 
  • Traffick various creative formats including auto-generated ads, static images, videos, audio, and third-party trackers 
  • Drive campaign performance through data analysis 
  • Optimize campaigns for performance and delivery. Refine optimization and campaign launch workflows 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to execute and adjust campaigns 
  • Generate standardized and ad hoc campaign reports 
  • Partner closely with account teams, brand managers, and retail leads to enhance the customer experience and business outcomes, and escalating issues as needed.  
  • Advising internal teams on targeting strategies, providing recommendations to impact specific brands' performance, defining campaign benchmarks 
  • Using key learnings for wider team trainings 
  • Maintain proper spending and ensure delivery within allocated budgets 
  • Work with finance team for monthly reconciliation and invoicing 

Knowledge/Skills 

  • Strong background in managing digital campaigns 
  • Mentorship skills 
  • Experienced in digital marketing, search engine marketing, programmatic advertising, and social media 
  • Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills 
  • Holds a high bar for organizational skills, accuracy, and detail oriented 
  • Ability to analyze data sets, read between the lines, uncover insights and identify trends 
  • Analytically inclined possessing intermediate/advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
Requirements
  • Four year degree in related field or equivalent experience 
  • 1-3 years of experience with digital campaign operations 
  • Preferred experience with creating and managing Google, Facebook or Amazon ads
