Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and versatile individual with expertise in Shopify development, advanced coding skills in JavaScript and Liquid, and a keen eye for modern UI/UX design. This role requires a professional who can create engaging and seamless user experiences across our digital platforms. Experience in video editing and animation is a plus, as we aim to enhance our websites with custom animations.

Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Development:
  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify websites using Liquid and JavaScript.
  • Implement modern and responsive UI/UX designs that provide a seamless user experience.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize websites for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Integrate third-party applications and APIs to extend website functionality.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs promptly.
  • Maintain and update existing Shopify themes and templates.
UI/UX Design:
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly website designs that align with brand guidelines.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive design and functionality across digital platforms.
  • Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve the user experience.
Video Editing and Animation (Preferred):
  • Edit and create videos for website content and marketing purposes.
  • Develop custom animations to enhance website interactivity and user engagement.
  • Ensure video and animation content aligns with overall design and branding strategies.
  • Work with the design and marketing teams to bring creative ideas to life through video and animation.
Requirements

  • Proven experience in Shopify development with strong coding skills in Liquid and JavaScript.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to design modern, responsive, and user-centric UI/UX.
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and animation tools (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Advanced Coding skills in Liquid and Javascript (Non-negotiable)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Advanced coding skills in Liquid and JavaScript.
  • Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and their implementation in web design.
  • Knowledge of user research and usability testing methodologies.
