Job Title: Clinical Education and Training Senior Manager, Europe 
 
Position Overview:  The Clinical Education and Training Manager will lead the Clinical Training and Education Team as part of the Sales Excellence Team in order to develop the clinical needs and capabilities across our business in the European and International markets to increasing access and usage of Omnipod therapy 
 
Responsibilities

• Works with the Sales Team across Europe to build knowledge, drive clinical excellence and help to achieve increased uptake of Omnipod and achieve sales goals

• Lead strategic development and direction of Education and Training function within the European Sales Excellence Team  

• Development and Delivery of education programmes for internal clinical and sales teams, to drive expertise and achieve a best in class service to our customers

• Creation of Educational Material and use of the Veeva Medical Review (MLR) framework for approval of content.  Training to be provided.

• Assists with sales events such as pump clinics, pump support groups, info sessions, in the-office educational events, patient info nights, JDRF walks, vendor days, etc.

• Promotes the benefits of insulin pump therapy and sells Omnipod Insulin Management System to providers, Key Opinion Leaders and product users

• Evaluates and supports Certified Pod Training and CSMs in skills needed to be effective and excellent in helping patients moving to Omnipod therapy.

• Works collaboratively with Sales Teams, Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access and all functions across Insulet Europe to enhance patient training based on business needs of territory (considering overall costs of training and timeliness of training).

• Manages the Clinical Training Lead - Europe

• Ability to understand the importance of engagement and will work in conjunction with HCPs for superior patient training outcomes.

• Leads product training & clinical topics development and delivery for Sales and Clinical onboarding in Europe.

• Ability to perform administrative duties and complete/ turn in on a timely basis.

• Provide field feedback to Sales Management & Sales Excellence Director based on training of internal hires, HCPs, and patients.

• Perform other duties as assigned. 
 
Education and Experience  Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree

• 10+ years’ experience of developing and delivering strategic clinical training to Field Teams and HCPs 
 • Professional up to date credentials and/or certifications are preferred:  i.e. Certified Diabetes Educator (CDE), Registered Dietitian (RD), or Registered Nurse (RN)  
 
Preferred Skills and Competencies:  

• Diabetes Technology experience is strongly preferred  

• Prior industry/commercial experience strongly preferred.

• Clinical coaching experience preferred

• Professional and polished presentation skills.

• Strong interpersonal communications, both oral and written.

• Self-started who needs minimal direction; extremely flexible, with good business acumen.

• Strong contributing member of the commercial team.

• Credibility and contacts within the diabetes community.

• Proficiency with computers, especially MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Veeva.   
 
Physical Requirements:  

• Valid driver’s license required.  Must reside within the EU.  

• This position requires regular business travel within the UK & EU, at times extensive travel to conduct training events and ‘field visits’ across the EU or to support training needs in our international markets.  

• Overnight travel and amount of air travel varies by monthly need.

• The work environment will be, home office and car, as well as the Regional Offices for our international markets (Paris, Munich, London). There will be requirement to visit HCPs offices, clinics 
 

NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote
