Job Title: Operations Planner

Reports to:  Senior Manager, Planning Operations

Location:  Remote

The Role

The Operations Planner is a self-motivated and analytical collaborator who works well in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. 

The Operations Planner role supports DTC Merchandising / Planning & Allocation teams by acting as a conduit between DTC and our Inventory Planning team with a goal of ultimately bringing the Merchant’s vision to life while utilizing sophisticated statistical forecasting models to generate an Operations Planning perspective. 

A strong candidate for this role is analytical, detail oriented, organized, an effective communicator and works well cross functionally.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

  • 1.  Create and maintain DTC channel specific Order Book allowing for the allocation of stock
  • 2.  Work cross-functionally between DTC Merchandising / Planning & Allocation and Inventory Management teams to execute the vision of the DTC Merchant by channel
  • 3.  Lead monthly Order Book review meetings with DTC Merchandising / Planning & Allocation teams where in-season needs are reviewed and adjusted by channel
  • 4.  Create and maintain DTC channel specific size profiles

  • Self-motivated and organized analytical person who works well cross-functionally
  • A curious problem solver who is comfortable acting as a detective through root cause analysis
  • An effective communicator with strong presentation skills

We’d love to hear from people with

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Master’s Degree Preferred
  • Data analysis certifications are a plus
  • Experience creating / developing statistical forecasting models / algorithms
  • Experience navigating complex computer systems
  • 2-4 years of related planning experience
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookup, xlookup, sumif, index match, etc)
  • Experience working cross functionally
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
  • Experience leading and presenting in monthly meetings
  • Experience managing large data sets
  • Strong critical thinking skills and able to effectively communicate findings
  • Experience with Demand Planning software is a plus
  • Tableau experience is a plus

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
