The Opportunity:
The Manager of Identity and Access Management, Technology Operations is responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of IAM operations within the organization. A key focus of this position is ensuring only authorized individuals have access to the appropriate resource and information within Ensemble systems. This person will serve as an escalation point with Operations and Clients.
Job Competencies:
- Strong experience in leading an IAM team
- Extensive knowledge of SSO, MFA, Active Directory and privileged accounts
- Technical expertise in IAM technology
- Strong process development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
IAM Operations Management: Overseeing the daily operations of IAM systems, including user provisioning, access requests, authentication, directory services, and identity lifecycle management.
User Provisioning and Deprovisioning: Managing the process of granting and revoking access privileges for employees, contractors, partners, and customers across various IT systems, applications, and platforms.
Access Control Policies: Implementing and enforcing access control policies and role-based access control (RBAC) mechanisms to ensure that users have the appropriate level of access based on their roles and responsibilities within the organization.
Incident Response: Collaborating with the incident response team to assist with investigations related to identity and access management and implementing remediation measures.
Compliance Monitoring: Monitoring IAM activities and access controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal security policies, such as HIPAA, PCI, and SOX.
Team Leadership: Leading a team of IAM professionals providing guidance, mentoring, and training to develop their skills and expertise in identity and access management.
IAM Tool Administration: Managing IAM tools, platforms, and technologies, such as identity governance and administration (IGA) systems, privileged access management (PAM) solutions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, LDAP).
Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining documentation, reports, and audit trails of IAM activities, access permissions, user entitlements, and compliance assessments for internal audits and regulatory purposes.
Risk Management: Collaborate with Security in identifying and mitigating security risks associated with identity and access management, such as insider threats, unauthorized access, and identity theft.
Strategically aligns the IAM program with the overall business needs by driving meaningful collaboration and developing strategic financial budgets and operational plans.
Relationships: Build relationships with Client IAM teams to define processes and ensure appropriate controls are in place.
Job Experience- 7 to 10 years
People Leadership Experience - 3-5 years
Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
Preferred area of study: Computer Science
