Systems Modeling Engineer, Lead

As a systems engineer on our team, you have the chance to shape the development and upgrades of aerospace systems across multiple defenses, civilian, and space domains by leading digital engineering and model-based systems engineering activities. Your customer will trust you to not only design and develop these systems, but also evolve them with advanced technology solutions.

You'll provide engineering technical directions for problem definition, analysis, requirement development, and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical objectives. You'll evaluate and modernize how our clients go about linking digital tools and techniques with system engineering. You'll apply advanced consulting skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. You'll develop innovative solutions to complex problems. You Have:
3+ years of experience with systems engineering activities
3+ years of experience with MBSE Tools, including Cameo Systems Modeler or IBM Rhapsody
2+ years of experience with requirements and system architecture development across the systems development lifecycle
2+ years of experience with cloud computing, including Amazon Web Services GovCloud and Commercial
Experience with performing analysis studies in a modeling and simulation environment
Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics
Ability to obtain 8570 Certification, including Sec+, within 30 days of hire
Nice If You Have:
1+ years of experience with Agile and Jira
1+ years of experience leading a team of engineers
Experience with supporting engineering tools, including IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, ModelCenter, TeamCenter, MATLAB, or STK or CAD tools, including CATIA or SolidWorks
Experience in developing and executing model-based testing using the systems model with linked engineering tools
Experience in standing up and configuring engineering tools on new and existing infrastructure
Experience in developing and automating tools and infrastructure in the cloud
Experience in scripting tools and languages, including Ansible, Terraform, or Python
Knowledge of linking analytical and engineering tools in a digital thread
Knowledge of DoD Security best practices and compliance requirements
SysML OMG Certified Systems Modelling Professional (OCSMP) Certification and INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including CSEP or ASEP
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
