POSITION: Senior-Big Data Software Engineer

LOCATION: 208 S. Akard St., Dallas, TX 75202 (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home)

DUTIES: AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Senior-Big Data Engineer in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) to produce batch and real time data pipelines for our network and NLP based use cases for our data scientists and other developers. Analyze, design, program, debug, and modify software enhancements and new products used in distributed, large-scale analytics and visualization solutions. Work in a highly agile environment. Responsible for the development of high performance, distributed computing tasks using Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL, text mining and other distributed environment technologies in azure and on-prem. Responsible for Hadoop administration, Apache NiFi support and Databricks workspace administration, supporting the network intelligence data collect and AI team and their business partners. Responsible for automation of infrastructure using CICD/ansible or comparable technologies in Azure cloud. Set up secure vents and core infrastructure components in Azure. Support the Network Intelligence Flowlogic Hadoop clusters and databricks workspaces that collects the mobile packet data via the network probes. Manage the core ingestion NiFi servers and supporting the platforms teams with all things azure and responsible for automation of infrastructure using CICD/ansible. Responsible for assisting helping the Chief data office and enterprise business teams build data models, data pipelines and if necessary, build and operationalize machine learning models to draw insights from the datasets. Responsible for research and development of prototypes and applications using GenAI capabilities like ChatGPT and other transformer model frameworks. Utilize CICD/ansible. Utilize Python, NodeJS, MongoDB and Terraform. Utilize AWS, DynamoDB and Google Cloud Platform. Utilize Hadoop technologies, Data Science, Data Engineering and Machine learning capabilities. Utilize cloud data and AI technologies.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate in a related occupation utilizing ChatGPT; utilizing CICD/ansible; utilizing Python, NodeJS, MongoDB and Terraform; utilizing AWS, DynamoDB and Google Cloud Platform; utilizing Hadoop technologies, Data Science, Data Engineering and Machine learning capabilities; and utilizing cloud data and AI technologies.

Our Senior-Big Data Software Engineers earn between $140,000 - $231,100 yearly. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
