We have a great 12 months maternity leave cover opportunity for a Senior Finance Manager supporting our endeavourX & Data Driven Transformation business units.  The role  is responsible for partnering with the endeavourX leadership team and GM of Data Driven Transformation to support and deliver their strategic agendas, providing commercial insights on investment plans, expenditure, returns and opportunities to optimise performance.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role

  • Partner with the Endeavour X leadership team and Heads of Product to develop and maintain a multi-year view of our digital investments and estimated benefits, balancing our short and long term Group ambitions in eCommerce, stores and venues. 
  • Partner with the GM of Data Driven Transformation and Group Strategy team to develop and maintain a multi-year view of our investments in Data Science and Technology, including cost benefit analysis and prioritisation of use cases aligned to our investment framework.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on how to measure, analyse and optimise benefits from our digital and data transformation investment programs. 
  • Leverage insights from benefits tracking and resource planning to support re-prioritisation decisions, ultimately optimising our ROI
  • Ensure financial plans reflect the strategic intent and missions for EndeavourX and Data Driven Transformation
  • Facilitate the Budget process for the EndeavourX and Data Driven Transformation teams, including stakeholder engagement with the Brand Finance and business teams on costs / benefits that will be reflected in the respective trading P&L’s.
  • Manage interdependencies with the Group Technology Budget for shared resources, ensuring transparency and alignment on total end to end costs
  • As a Finance Manager and people leader, contribute to the shape and implementation of broader teams goals and objectives

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you

  • 15 years+ experience, including extensive Commercial Finance and experience working in an agile environment
  • Qualified accountant (CA/CPA)
  • Digital and data transformation experience (desirable)
  • Experience with IT / Technology finance (desirable)
  • Retail / FMCG industry experience (desirable)
  • Experience in partnering with the senior leadership team on development of strategic initiatives, including defining the KPIs to measure success
  • Experience in preparing business cases / investment proposals
  • Experience in developing financial models and benefits tracking
  • Proven ability in developing high performing teams that work constructively and collaborate well with business partners
  • Prior experience working in large and complex, multi-stakeholder environments
