Job Summary:
Facing an alarming rise in suicide across the nation and all demographics, the federal government has adopted a robust framework and a comprehensive, multi-setting approach to suicide prevention and quality improvement in health systems with the aspirational goal of “zero suicides.” This includes funding for states, the District of Columbia, territories, tribes, tribal organizations, and other public health agencies to provide grants to organizations to implement the Zero Suicide intervention and prevention framework for adults throughout health systems.
SAMHSA currently wants to evaluate the impact of these grants and its outcomes. To enhance participation in the evaluation and improve data quality, there is a provision of evaluation training and training assistance to grantees. Aptive is currently looking for Training and Technical Assistance Liaisons to address this requirement.
The selected candidate will provide training, technical assistance, and support to around 25 grantees in fully understanding the purpose and procedures of the national evaluation and how national evaluation data will be analyzed, interpreted, and used. The candidate will also act as liaison between the client and grantee teams and be able to manage the training schedule for efficient and timely use of resources.
