About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Sustainability Associate to join our team at the ground level, helping to develop our domestic Greenhouse Gas (GHG) inventory management system and guide it through the assurance and validation process. This role offers the chance to contribute to the development and implementation of CoreWeave’s long-term sustainability objectives and initiatives.

The Sustainability Associate will support the development of CoreWeave’s GHG inventory management system, ensuring accurate data collection, analysis, and reporting. This position is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of experience in maintaining corporate GHG inventories, particularly with significant scope 2 and 3 emissions. The successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented remote work environment, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in conveying complex technical information to non-technical audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of CoreWeave’s domestic GHG inventory management system.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze GHG data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Support the preparation of inventory reports and documentation for the assurance and validation process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless data collection and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of CoreWeave’s long-term sustainability initiatives.
  • Communicate complex technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintaining a corporate GHG inventory at a US-based company with significant scope 2 and 3 emissions.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Highly organized and diligent with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.
  • Sound professional judgment and discretion.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14064 standards preferred
  • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented company.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000-$95,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Hybrid Workplace

Successful candidates will be expected to attend onboarding training at our NJ Headquarters within their first several weeks of employment, with subsequent quarterly travel requirements of 1 week duration.
