Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a Solution Lead/Systems Analyst with demonstrable experience in the media & broadcast sector to join our growing team and work with one of our most important clients.

Responsibilities:

You will have to be experienced in the broadcast/media world, with demonstrable knowledge and expertise around:

  • Video content
  • Captioning
  • Metadata and metadata management
  • Content syndication
  • System delivery to 3rd party client(s)

Knowledge and experience of the broadcast & media sector is essential as the learning curve is felt to be too steep to manage for someone without sector experience.

You will:

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the system definition and analysis; taking responsibility for all elements of the system that will feed into the development of the solution.
  • Be the first point of contact for any issues that may arise throughout solution delivery process
  • Operate as the domain expert for the system
  • Identify system requirements
  • Liaise with the BA to track additional requirements and features
  • Document interfaces between new and legacy systems
  • Collaborate with developers to produce new systems
  • Validate changes
  • Ensure deadline and budget requirements are met

Requirements

This project will consist of a hybrid client/vendor team, our client will be a key element within the delivery team and it is important to appreciate that different teams from within the client are similar to different suppliers!

Consisting of both internal business & sector leading vendors, the solution will cover areas such as, but not limited to:

  • Management video syndication
  • Captioning
  • Management of metadata

Qualities:

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of the broadcast & media sector
  • Clear and competent communication skills across all business areas (the client, internal team(s), vendor teams, vendors etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to resolve problems and queries throughout all stages of a project
