The Regional Marcom Specialist – Operations is responsible for optimizing marketing technologies, streamlining processes and vendor relationship management. This position will be responsible for coordinating event personnel ensuring seamless execution of events across the APAC region. The role demands a blend of technical, analytical and strong interpersonal skills to enhance the efficiency of marketing activities, ensuring that the marketing efforts are aligned with the company’s growth objectives and customer first approach.

The Regional Marcom Specialist – Operations interfaces, collaborates and is a critical member of the Regional marketing team.

The ideal candidate has experience working for a large global organization, possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills, is a strong team player and has a minimum of 3-5 years marketing, branding and marketing communications and event management experience.

The successful candidate would be available to work from a local Agilent office with the ability to travel on an as needs basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Primary liaison with external agencies and Regional Marketing team.
  • Co-ordination of event managers ensuring seamless delivery of events across the region.
  • Manage workload distribution from Regional Marketing activities with the events agency.
  • Map SOW for required agency services.
  • Design engagement models and workflows for agency support.
  • Manage stakeholder feedback and handle workflow improvement with key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate and identify service packages with events agency on combined projects within APAC – including yearly reviews with agency.
  • Synergize discussions with the Marcom Specialists team on joint events.
  • Update content on SharePoint.
  • Provide monthly budget reports.
  • Optimizing marketing processes and technologies.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration / Science, Marketing, Marketing Communications or equivalent.
  • More than 8 years combined marketing and/or marketing communications experience.
  • Experience managing multiple external partnerships across time zones.
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects that are timeframe oriented, handle interruptions, and to be flexible with changing tasks.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience and the ability to work as part of a virtual regional team and organization.
  • Ability to identify creative solutions for complex issues.
  • Superb organization skills.
  • Computer literate and fluent utilization of Microsoft Office applications, translation technologies, content management systems and other enterprise solutions.
  • Ability to give clear, concise and constructive feedback to both internal and external resources.
  • Learn, adapt and follow established Company Practices.
