Machinery Vibration Specialist

Description:

You will work on vibration monitoring and analysis projects on a part time basis in the following areas:

• Perform monitoring and analysis activities to investigate, troubleshoot and provide solutions for machinery vibration issues,
• Perform consulting services as a technical expert for machinery vibration issues,
• Prepare reports and studies that present technical information in a clear and concise manner to meet client requirements,
• Perform independent reviews of reports and studies performed by others,
• Provide support, including field support, for piping vibration monitoring and analysis activities

• A BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET Engineering Accreditation Commission-approved program or equivalent relevant work experience.
• 10 or more years of experience in power plant machinery vibration monitoring and analysis.
• Experience with vibration test equipment used for machinery vibration monitoring

Valued but not required skills and experience:

• Vibration Analyst Level IV certification
• Experience with Nuclear Power Plant systems and components
