Job Description:

Vertex is seeking a talented individual to join the Global Commercial Strategy Digital Team to support our journey to bring forth new options for the treatment of pain. The Product Owner, Global Commercial Strategy Digital, will be responsible several key platforms that are critical in understanding the external landscape, as well as enabling digital customer engagement. Those platforms include: Brandwatch, to monitor social listening and digital opinion leader identification; SEM Rush, to monitor trends in search and web traffic sources; Similar Web, to monitor competitive website information (overall traffic, source channels, keywords that are driving traffic) Pathmatics Competitive creative campaign trends, spend & ad placement

 

We are seeking a candidate with extensive experience with systems management, digital marketing, and strategic analytics and insights. The successful candidate will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment. This role will report to the Associate Director on the Global Commercial Strategy Digital Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Owns Digital Landscaping platforms and strategic road mapping, enables capability development and adoption, creates related best practices, manages budget
  • Engages with internal business stakeholders to identify business needs to translate the brand strategy into effective digital landscaping deliverables
  • Create standards and templates for increased efficiencies
  • Expands capabilities to have more of a global applicability and adoption
  • Continuously scan and evaluates external digital landscape partnership opportunities to support new patient digital capability building
  • Establish key performance indicators for platforms to measure and ensure effectiveness of their impact and return on investment
  • Partner with privacy and legal on ensuring compliance aligned to emerging state regulations related to healthcare data

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
  • Typically requires 4+ years of work experience leading the delivery of customer facing digital non-personal promotional programs to promote products and services to external customers, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Skills

  • Experience in systems management, strategic road mapping
  • Experience managing complex internal and external partner relationships
  • Strategic thinking, insights generation and strong analytical skills
  • Digital marketing experience and baseline knowledge
  • Detail orientation and strong organization, prioritization and project management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks
  • An entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems
  • Process orientation, as well as operational mindset
  • Aligned with company culture focused on ethics and integrity in all we do
  • Comfortable working in a highly collaborative and results-driven environment
  • Biotech experience preferred but not required

 

Additional requirements

  • 12 month contract position, potential opportunity for temp to perm
  • Ability to travel 15%
  • This position is a remote position, and will report to Vertex resources based in Boston

 

Pay Range:

$75-90/HR
