The Senior Product Manager, FedRAMP Opportunity

Reporting to Director, Product Management CIC platform.

Responsible for leading the product strategy and roadmap, ensuring our platform achieves FedRAMP authorization and delivers exceptional value for government users.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Lead the product development lifecycle for our FedRAMP-authorized cloud platform, from concept to launch and beyond.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with business goals, user requirements, and FedRAMP compliance demands.
  • Foster close collaboration across cross-functional teams (engineering, security, sales, etc.) to ensure product feasibility, security, and successful go-to-market strategy.
  • Partner with security teams to understand, translate, and integrate FedRAMP security controls into the product development process.
  • Craft compelling product messaging and user documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences, including government stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of success in launching and scaling complex software products.
  • Strong understanding of the FedRAMP authorization process and security controls, with experience navigating compliance for cloud-based solutions.
  • Have completed one FedRAMP authorization process from end to end.
  • Experience working with cloud-native technologies and architectures. (e.g., containers, Kubernetes, microservices)

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

  • Experience in CIAM solutions and the customer identity landscape.
  • Passion for government technology and a desire to deliver solutions that empower public sector agencies.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

Required:

  • This position requires the ability to access federal environments and/or have access to protected federal data.  As a condition of employment for this position, the successful candidate must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. Person status (e.g. a U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee. 22 CFR 120.15) upon hire.

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$160,000$240,000 USD
The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$179,000$269,000 USD
