Meet Benevity

The world’s coolest companies (and their employees) use Benevity’s technology to take social action on the issues they care about. Through giving, volunteering, grantmaking, employee resource groups and micro-actions, we help most of the Fortune 100 brands build better cultures and use their power for good. We’re also one of the first B Corporations in Canada, meaning we’re as committed to purpose as we are to profits. We have people working all over the world, including Canada, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, the United States and more!

We are seeking a passionate and creative Product Manager to join our team, focused on delivering innovative community investment solutions. The Product Manager will manage the product lifecycle, define the product vision, gather and prioritize customer requirements, and craft epics and stories. Working closely with engineering, you will ensure timely, high-quality product delivery. This role also involves collaborating with sales, marketing, and support teams to meet revenue and customer satisfaction goals.

What You’ll Do:
  • Partner with a team of cross-functional individuals who will champion the delivery of valuable outcomes
  • Deliver assessments for market opportunities with corresponding justification which will be broken down and organized into prioritized features for the engineering teams
  • Craft a development plan and create supporting resources for iterative development of features including epics and stories
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
  • Become an expert in the sector's competition and corporate giving space including grantmaking, sponsorships and in-kind donations.
  • Develop core positioning and messaging for the product
  • In conjunction with product marketing, develop sales tools and collateral
  • Act as a leader within the company

What You’ll Bring:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager
  • Familiarity with APIs as product extensions
  • A hunger for growth as a product manager and excellence within your team
  • A humility to be accountable, approachable, and coachable
  • Experience building SaaS products and taking them to market
  • Knowledge of two-sided (or more marketplace) design and solutions is a plus
  • Knowledge of the philanthropy space and experience with non-profit organizations and/or philanthropic foundations is a plus
