We are a passionate team at a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization centered in Bloomington, IN, committed to preserving Native languages. Our mission involves crafting various materials, including web and mobile apps, dictionaries, textbooks, picture books, and other media, in collaboration with our partner organizations and communities.

Overview

We're on the lookout for a dynamic and imaginative eLearning Curriculum Developer to join our ranks. As part of our team, you'll be instrumental in creating engaging and interactive educational content for online platforms dedicated to Native American language learning.

While this role is open for remote work, we highly encourage applicants from Bloomington, IN, to consider joining us in-office for seamless collaboration with the team.

Responsibilities

Develop and shape educational materials in collaboration with our in-house linguists, staff, and representatives from Native communities, Tribes, and First Nations.

Design and deploy e-learning modules aimed at effectively educating language learners.

Work closely with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy in content creation.

Translate complex information into clear, understandable formats.

Craft interactive exercises and assessments to enrich the learning journey.

Conduct testing and troubleshooting of e-learning modules to ensure functionality and user satisfaction.

Experience

Previous experience in educational content development is highly desirable.

Proficiency in spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Google Docs.

Comfortable navigating diverse online interfaces for content creation and data management.

Demonstrates unwavering integrity, respect, and cultural understanding.

Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and experts.

Ability to present information in an engaging and pedagogical manner.
