Workday Senior Consultant

What are we looking for:

We are seeking a skilled Workday Consultant to assist the Workday Implementation team in designing and configuring the Client's Workday solution. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of industry best practices and be adept at translating technical requirements into business-appropriate terminology.

Position Overview:

• Role: Workday Consultant
• Industry: IT/Pharmaceuticals
• Employment Type: Freelance/B2B
• Duration: 6 months
• Allocation: 100% (up to 8h/day)
• Location: Remote with occasional travel to Prague
• Start Date: 1 July 2024 (if you cannot start at this date, please specify your earliest availability)
• Work Authorization: Due to legal requirements, this role is open only to candidates legally allowed to work in the European Union.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and configuration of the Workday solution.
• Develop end-to-end solutions using industry best practices.
• Configure the future P&O system.
• Lead walk-throughs of business processes with team members.
• Translate technical requirements into business-appropriate terminology.
• Test the Workday solution and ensure all requirements are met.
• Transfer knowledge and support Journey Leads with technical/functional knowledge of the Workday product.
• Support data migration and coordinate data cleansing/business validation at global and country levels.
• Address stranded data and implement strategies for data retention and archival.
• Create and develop functional designs and specifications.
• Facilitate workshops and translate stakeholder requirements into solutions.

Experience and Background:

• Extensive experience with Workday implementation and configuration.
• Strong knowledge of data migration, data cleansing, and business validation processes.
• Experience in developing functional designs and specifications.
• Proven ability to translate technical requirements into business-appropriate terminology.
• Experience in facilitating workshops and working with global and country-level resources.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to craft and implement data strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to transfer knowledge effectively.

Differentiating Qualifications:

• Previous experience in pharmaceutical or IT industries.
• Certification in Workday or relevant modules.
• Experience with global projects and understanding of various regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
