Title Examiner -- Remote | WFH

We're looking for a skilled Title Examiner to join our team in Pensacola, Florida! In this role, you'll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth real estate transactions by examining title records, preparing title insurance commitments, and generating owner and encumbrance reports. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility while requiring you to reside within an hour's drive of Pensacola.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze title documents from public records to produce accurate title commitments and reports.

Conduct property tax research and investigate information related to bankruptcies, tax liens, and judgments.

Assist customers with inquiries and issues related to title problems.

Assess closing documents for compliance with recording requirements and title defect resolution.

Occasionally enter orders and prepare necessary documentation using our systems.

Requirements

Previous experience in title examination is preferred.

Familiarity with real estate law and the ability to interpret legal descriptions.

Proficiency in abstracting and reviewing documents such as probates, divorces, and bankruptcies.

Strong computer skills and the ability to navigate various digital platforms effectively.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.

Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure with strict deadlines.

Must be reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changes in schedule when necessary.
