On the Global Deployment and Change Management team reporting to the Sr Manager GDCM Property System Projects, you will support projects implementing Property Management Systems.

How You Will Make An Impact

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What Your Day-to-day Will Be Like

  • You will manage the implementation of Property Management Systems and other products into new openings, converting, or operating hotels, including leading a team of Senior Associates and Associates. Also, you will be the departments' liaison with brand teams and partners such as AD&C within 45-30 days of opening.

How You Will Collaborate With Others

  • Work in partnership with the Deployment Communications team on the off-site and remote preparation activities relating to the successful installation of Property Management Systems into new and converting hotels
  • Monitor on-site activities and planning of contingencies for high-risk items
  • Collaborate with the department Senior Manager in managing risks to meeting opening/project dates, be the first line of escalation to support teams, ensuring all main partners are kept updated.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external partners to ensure timelines are met, owners and GMs are briefed on the PMS implementation process and costs.

What Deliverables You Will Take Ownership Of

  • Responsible for the assignment of team members to projects, based on the defined project plans, ensuring all preparation items defined in the project plans are completed
  • Ensure all open items (support tickets) are being resolved pre, during and post-implementation.
  • Manage the onboarding and development plans for all direct reports
  • Conduct interviews for potential new hires following business demands.
  • Highlight future strategies and demands in the region to the Senior Manager of the department
  • On-site visits to be conducted to high-profile projects, large full-service projects, and any additional projects deemed necessary

WHY YOU'LL BE A GREAT FIT

You Have These Minimum Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Understanding and proficiency of Hilton’s systems (PMS (OnQ or PEP), CRS, downstream systems) and interfaces
  • Travel up to 30-40% (if applicable).

It Would Be Useful If You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or Associate’s Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Seven (7) + years of professional work experience in Technology or related field
  • Experience with direct reports management and/or project leadership
  • Experience with deployment or implementation projects
  • Experience with project management
