Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Information Support Administrator to join our IT team. This role is crucial in maintaining our IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security to support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure for the organization.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
  • Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
  • Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes.
  • Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks.
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
  • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining IT documentation, system standards, and reports.

Qualifications:

  • Proven background in administering Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows environments
  • Proven working experience in DataDog and AWS
  • Experience with Atlassian - Google - Slack
  • Experience with automation software
  • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Reporting Line:

This position reports directly to the Director of Information Technology.
