ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for coordinating and conducting internal and external evaluations that provide clinical and technical feedback to enhance development and improvement of products and services. Support KOL and Luminary activities as needed. Software Validation, Image Optimization and collection of demo and marketing images are also part of this role. This position requires up to 50% travel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assignedMaintain a deep understanding of the Ultrasound industry and the challenges faced by Sonographers and clinicians, for the USA sales and support teams. Apply clinical and technical expertise to observe workflow and system functionality in a clinical setting. Working directly with the United States current customer base, through a parallel collaboration with Clinical Marketing Managers, Product Manager and Luminary Development managerProvide input on future upgrades and enhancements as a direct result of customer and competitive feedback via VOC process with HQ and be the digital solution liason with HQ and 3rd party companies. Contribute to clinical aspects of product design to meet evolving customer needs!Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering to help facilitate the best and most attainable solutions for an optimal product release. Ensure IRB compliance in evaluating pre-market technologies internally and during external evaluations. Provide product guidance to marketing, education, sales, and clinical application teams.Identify opportunities, develop and implement plans that demonstrate the added clinical value of Samsung Healthcare technologies. Manage and support digital strategies for the ultrasound business to include collaboration with IT/Connectivity manager with testing and other digital applications.Manage reporting solutions and product synergies between 3rd party reporting companies and Samsung ultrasound products as well as develop internal training and presentation strategies for digitial offerings. Continually monitor North American market to determine clinical market trends and key requirements for product development to maintain a leadership position in defined modalityInterface with Engineering, Regulatory, Sales, Operations, Applications, and Service teams to understand and document key areas for improvement in clinical functionality Solicit input from customers, field sales, applications and service personnel regarding product improvements for assigned product lines and develop plans to capitalize on themSupport KOL/Luminary accounts as needed for evaluation and other collaboration activities.Ensure articulation of the organization’s desired vision and brand. Assure consistent communication to all constituencies, both internal and externalAttend/complete all required training.Follow all company policies regarding travel, expenses, meetings, and meals.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEBA or equivalent. RDMS required.A minimum of 8 years healthcare product marketing or WH digital reporting work experience within assigned product categories, including involvement in applications development, market research, design and implementation with a strategic focus on market share growth.Demonstrated ability to discern quality in ultrasound images, techniques and workflow based on USA marketKnowledge and understanding of policies and competitive dynamics in healthcare industryAbility to communicate and work effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders including Samsung HQAbility to communicate with engineers, technical support personnel, doctors, clinicians and health care professionals on issues relating to product performance, digital reporting interface, and the health care industry generallyStrong presentation skills and the ability to perform clinical and product training to all levels of customersWilling to travel overnight.Valid driving license and satisfactory driving record is mandatory, and background and drug testing (pre- and post-employment) is required.Must be a result oriented, team player, people person.Must be self-driven to optimize performance without the need for extensive supervision.Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment.Must have and exhibit excellent presentation skills in small and large groups situations.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLSMust be proficient with technology applications, able to present using a laptop and able demonstrate proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google ChromePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSRegularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
