Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Containerization Engineer (Linux & C++) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining containerization systems, focusing on LXC and Kubernetes-supported OCI containers. This role involves working with Linux systems and programming in C and C++ to ensure efficient data management and optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• LXC to OCI Migration: Lead the effort to transition our existing LXC-based container environment to be fully OCI compliant, enabling seamless integration with Kubernetes and other OCI-compatible container runtimes.
• Design, implement, and maintain containerization systems.
• Integrate containers with Ubuntu.
• Optimize system performance and ensure efficient data management.

• Work with Linux systems and develop in C and C++.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support containerization initiatives.

Requirements

Must-Haves Qualifications:

• 3+ YOE with C or C++
• 2+ YOE with containerization systems
• Strong hands-on experience with OCI specifications and image formats
• Extensive knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components (e.g., Pods, Deployments, Services)
• Proficiency in Linux system
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field

Nice-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with Docker, containers
• Experience with LXC
• Knowledge of container security best practices
