Position Summary:
The Director, Pharma Marketing will report directly to the VP of Global Marketing and collaborate closely with the VP of Pharma Sales. The role will be to develop a clear and differentiated position for the Pharma Services business within the target market, identify product and service needs, and develop and execute effective marketing and promotional strategies, campaigns, and tactics for the Pharma Services Business to support the achievement of revenue and profitability in the short and long term.
 
Core Responsibilitieshttp:
• Provide leadership and own the development of Pharma marketing strategies, including
objectives and strategy
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify key insights that will inform the
strategy and tactics while guiding sales execution with the VP of Pharma Services
• Develop, refine, and maintain relevant segmentation and persona for proper sales execution
and downstream marketing tools
• Develop and execute a pharmaceutical marketing plan that includes content creation, events,
digital marketing, lead generation partner marketing, and sponsorships
• Analyze the market size and competitive landscape to deliver market intel and analytics
• Collaborate with PM to prioritize new products and develop a roadmap based on market
analysis, phase I, II, and III drug development, and competitive insights
• Assist with VOC that will inform both product management and strategic marketing
• Develop optimal solutions based on the needs of the pharmaceutical industry and wherE
NeoGenomics can deliver the most value
• Work with the digital, social and creative teams to deliver meaningful marketing campaigns
and sales assets
• Measure ROI on campaigns to ensure optimization of budget
Additional Responsibilities (may be assigned)
• May lead and will participate in cross-functional teams or projects; shares expertise through
mentoring/coaching of others
• Serves on other work groups or committees as asked
• Other duties as assigned by the VP Global Marketing
 
Position Objectives:
• To develop a clear and differentiated position for the Pharma Services business within the
target market. Identify product and service needs and ensure consequent execution of the
strategy through the development and execution of tactical plans
• To develop clear and actionable solutions that will have an immediate impact on the size,
scope and profitability of the Pharma Services division, working closely with VP of Sales for
Pharma Services and the VP of Global Marketing
 
Education:
• BA/BS Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Business, or a related scientific field required
• MBA degree strongly preferred
 
Experience:
• 10 years of progressive marketing experience in laboratory, pharma, or life science fields
• Track record of progression with a company
• Pharma experience required
 
Travel Requirements:
The ability to travel up to 30% overnight will be required
