Job Description

• Position: Junior Quality Assurance Engineer
• Responsibilities:
  • Manually test web applications to identify and log bugs.
  • Ensure features and functionalities work flawlessly.
  • Directly impact the user experience and product success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manual Testing:
  • Execute thorough manual testing of web applications on various browsers, devices, and customer personas.
• Bug Identification:
  • Identify, document, and report bugs clearly and concisely.
• Test Scenarios:
  • Develop and execute test cases and scenarios based on product requirements and user stories.
• Collaboration:
  • Work with product, development, and design teams to understand features, intended functionality, and requirements.
• Feedback:
  • Provide constructive feedback and suggestions for product quality improvement.
• Regression Testing:
  • Perform regression testing to ensure existing features are unaffected by new changes.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of testing processes, results, and discovered defects.

Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Previous experience in software testing or a related field is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to effectively communicate and collaborate with US counterparts.
