You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data, develop reports and dashboards, and recommend actionable solutions to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth. This role requires strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities:

Collect, organize, and analyze data related to energy operations, including production, consumption, pricing, and market trends, to identify patterns, correlations, and opportunities for improvement.

Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization, leveraging process mapping and workflow analysis techniques.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements, define project scope, and prioritize initiatives to meet business objectives and strategic goals.

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational metrics, monitor performance, and provide insights to stakeholders.

Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, including cost-benefit analysis, ROI analysis, and variance analysis, to assess the financial impact of proposed initiatives and support decision-making.

Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory developments, and market dynamics in the energy sector, conducting research and analysis to inform strategic planning and business development efforts.

Identify and assess risks associated with energy operations, including market risks, regulatory risks, and operational risks, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize exposure.

Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to design and implement technology solutions, business process improvements, and automation initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business analysis, preferably in the energy sector or related industries.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets to drive business decisions.

Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, or Power BI.

Knowledge of energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends, with a solid understanding of energy production, distribution, and consumption processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and drive projects to successful completion.

Problem-solving mindset, with the ability to think critically, identify root causes, and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.
