Job Description: On behalf of our client, Affinity is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage three critical strategic initiatives: Workforce Learning and Development (LMS), Maturing Cybersecurity Capabilities, and Data Governance. This role is essential in ensuring that these projects are executed efficiently and effectively, aligning with their long-term strategic priorities. The successful candidate will have experience managing concurrent projects within higher education.
Services Required:
Workforce Learning and Development (LMS):
• Develop a comprehensive training plan for their workforce to enhance skills and competencies across the institution.
• Specify requirements and oversee the acquisition of a Learning Management System (LMS), including necessary professional services to ensure successful implementation and adoption
Maturing Cybersecurity Capabilities:
• Implement and manage automated configuration management processes to ensure consistent and secure configurations across all systems.
• Develop and manage a comprehensive vulnerability management program to identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities.
• Establish and maintain privileged access management protocols to control and monitor access to critical systems and data.
• Oversee the rationalization and optimization of their data center infrastructure to enhance efficiency, security, and reliability.
Data Governance:
• Initiate and implement a data governance plan to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct a needs analysis for digital tools required for data governance, oversee their acquisition, and ensure successful implementation and integration.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or PMP certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong preference for experience in higher education.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing integrated planning frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital tool acquisition.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity practices, including configuration management, vulnerability management, and privileged access management.
• Experience in data governance, including needs analysis and digital tool implementation.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and manage multiple priorities.
