Job Description

Treasury Specialist - Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This Person will take the lead on daily Treasury/PtP Operations for Argentina, being the expert on FX and market regulation, supporting LATAM and Local teams on Treasury and PtP related matters. He/she will also be responsible for local/external stakeholder management, providing the necessary report and information for decision making.                                                                                           

Working from Buenos Aires, this person, will direct report to Head of Treasury LATAM and need navigate among other areas such as: Tax, Legal, Supply Chain and other financial areas to create the necessary synergies then improving and accelerating the Philips capacity of managing cash restriction and ICA payment challenge.                      

                                                                       

Your role:

Treasury Argentina Responsibilities:                     

  • Cash Management Routine.                     
  • Funding and Investments Execution.
  • Audit requirements.
  • FX & Derivatives Activities.
  • Bank Guarantees process.

Purchase to Pay (PtP) Responsibilities:                                              

  • ICA payment Process (Goods & Services).                                         
  • Documentation analysis .
  • Main Contact for Foreign payments.                                   
  • Support on local payments to Thirds.                                 
  • GRIR (goods and Invoice recon) process required to perform payment to abroad.                    

Treasury & PtP shared Responsibilities: 

  • Establish and maintain bank relationships relevant for the scope of activities and responsibilities.   
  • Local regulation/restrictions support.
  • Rush Payments / Manual Payments / Bank Recon.                         
  • FX Regulation and reports (6401, DDJJ and etc).
  • Support Business (HoF) financial requirements from a Treasury/PtP point of view.

You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Economy, Accounting, or relevant background.
  • 4+ years of working experience in the finance area, such as Treasury, FP&A, Reporting, Accounts payable, receivables or any related area.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts payable process, bank reconciliation, FX process management and cashflow routine.
  • Ability to influence and work in collaboration with other stakeholders in a complex scenario that requires clear and straightforward communication.
  • Demonstrated experience on reporting preparation for decision making.
  • Bank relationship skills are fundamental to lead day-to-day work, with banks.
  • Demonstrated sense of responsibility and urgency to proactively act on volatility market with uncertainty and non-standard process. (take the ownership is really appreciated)
  • Being a process-oriented person is fundamental to succeeding in this role.
  • A self-starter who is willing to take the initiative to learn new skills that will be useful for the role or the organization overall.
  • Act with ethical, be aligned with compliance rules and follow company and country regulatory policies is mandatory, without any flexibility.
  • Knowledge on FX market in Argentina is a key element to perform this role.
  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this Office/Remote position.
