Our main purpose is to strengthen the digital capabilities of Roche globally by supporting central initiatives with Social Media Management, Brand Support, Digital Publishing Services, Marketing Automation, Copywriting and Creative Design.

The Opportunity:

The Social Media Expert (Digital Capabilities) is an internal Social Media and Digital Marketing Channel consultant who orchestrates end-to-end support for an assigned business area within Group Communications, from strategy to capabilities.

In this position you will be focusing on:

  • Supporting Roche stakeholders in improving the company’s maturity regarding technology, partnerships, training, and governance, providing strategic consultancy to support necessary changes.

  • Being responsible for the upkeep of the internal repository for social media strategy, governance, guidelines, training, and reports, and managing social media ad accounts and billing for various campaigns.

  • Working on project-based assignments, efficiently collaborating with different stakeholders on digital campaigns, channel strategy, and best practices.

  • Understanding the business partners’ preferences, identifying unmet needs, and taking action to support them, embedding best practice guidelines and processes across affiliates, regions, and global functions.

  • Implementing and executing best-in-class digital campaigns as defined by the Senior Digital Strategy Manager, collaborating seamlessly with colleagues responsible for Experience, Communities, Intelligence, Capabilities, and external agencies where appropriate.

Who you are:

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English.

  • You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience managing social media channels, implementing and optimizing campaigns, and reporting analytics, with proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

  • You have experience in implementing and publishing global campaigns through social media management platforms (e.g., Sprinklr) and advertisement platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager, Twitter, LinkedIn Ads), as well as detailed knowledge of all major digital platforms, including websites, Google, Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X.

  • You are detail-oriented, well-organised, and efficient with time management, capable of understanding benchmarking, KPIs, and measuring digital campaigns.

  • You have experience in agency/vendor management with the ability to lead and influence agency partners, and you can present confidently to senior stakeholders.

In exchange, we provide you with:

  • Development opportunities: Roche is rich in learning resources. We provide constant development opportunities, free language courses & trainings, the possibility of international assignments, internal position changes and the chance to shape your own career.
