As an Insurance Underwriter, you will oversee a range of critical responsibilities integral to our client’s operations. This includes managing monthly insurance renewals and leveraging remarketing strategies to optimize terms and premiums, ensuring the best outcomes for our client’s customers. You will also play a key role in preparing comprehensive insurance quotations for new business opportunities, meticulously tailoring each proposal to meet client needs and industry standards.

• Manage monthly insurance renewals and remarketing to secure better terms and premiums.
  
• Prepare insurance quotations for new business opportunities.
  
• Present new business and renewal quotes to company directors, authorized representatives, and account executives.
  
• Communicate and liaise with insurers and underwriters regarding any insurance-related queries.
  
• Send closing advice and documentation to insurers and underwriters as required.
  
• Prepare email and letter communications for company directors, authorized representatives, and account executives as required.
  
• Assist in drafting and enhancing existing email and letter templates, improving daily processes for efficiency as required.
  

Requirements

Policy Proficiency: Essential Skills

• Previous experience in insurance renewal and quotation processes.
  
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
  
• Ability to liaise effectively with insurers, underwriters, and internal stakeholders.
  
• Proficiency in drafting and improving communication templates.
