Accountant

This is a remote position.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookkeeping and accounting for multiple LLCs
  

• Reconcile accounts and track payments across various entities
  

• Prepare and examine financial statements
  

• Handle tax-related tasks and ensure compliance
  

• Implement proactive financial management processes
  

• Clean up and organize complex financial records
  

• Assist with tax preparation and filing
  

• Track and resolve discrepancies in payments and financial records
  

• Work on catch-up tasks to bring accounts up to date
  

• Prepare for upcoming tax seasons (September/October)
  

Requirements

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations
  

• Experience with multiple LLC accounting and inter-company transactions
  

• Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Xero
  

• Ability to work independently and proactively
  

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  

• Flexibility to transition from full-time to part-time after initial period
