About The Team & Business Line

As a core member of our Risk IT team, you will to ensure our clients maintain access to their critical information while keeping Citco ahead of industry trends

Your Role

  • Will be part of team developing next generation of applications for the business division we are part of
  • Developing a Orchestration/Workflow system which is automating processes business users do manually today. Solution will be serverless using AWS features such as lambdas , SQS and SNS
  • Produce and consume APIs for system to system integrations.
  • Today moving data between systems is a manual user process
  • We want to automate transfer of data through APIs and other means such as SQS
  • As one of the Senior members of the team
  • You will mentor Junior/New Staff
  • Design application(s) that meet requirements specified using best practices and patterns
  • Write Install Guides, System Design Specs, Technical Design Specs & document processes (eg how to release or do diagnostic checks)
  • Work in Agile team using SCRUM capable of providing estimates for sprint planning and provide feedback

About You

  • Worked with AWS Cloud (eg lamdas, SQS, SNS, cloudformation, fargate,cloudwatch)
  • Delivering APIs and worked on event driven systems using AWS features
  • Developed in React and/or Node JS 8+ .
  • Knowledge of Databricks/Spark or Pyhton is advantageous but not essential
  • Likewise Java/ PLSQL experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Some of existing system are coded in Java/PLSQL. You wont work on these systems but integrate into them
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 6+ years Industry experience
  • Proven Experience designing and developing complex solutions
  • B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience
