Role: The Quality Assurance Specialist reports to Director, LATAM Architecture & Systems Integration and works closely with a diverse team consisting of a Project Manager, Developers, Functional Developers, and Business Analysts.

Your Day With Equisoft

  • Review specifications to ensure full understanding of deliverable
  • Understand and identify test requirements from specifications or verbal communications
  • Develop, document, and maintain clear and concise functional test plans and test cases
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
  • Ensure deliverables meet specifications and requirements
  • Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes
  • Liaison with development, project management, and customer on quality and project scope and deliverables
  • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and communicate through appropriate channels
  • Participate in key ceremonies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment along with a dynamic team composed of software developers, architects, and project managers
  • Take ownership of Quality at every stage of the delivery process

Requirements

Technical

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Information Technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Test management tools such as TESTRAIL
  • Work management tools such as JIRA
  • Experience with Quality Assurance processes
  • Knowledge of financial and/or insurance industries is a strong asset
  • Knowledge of relational databases and scripting automated tests (SQL, SoapUI, Selenium, Neoload C#, Java)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
