Set the Gold Standard for Quality Assurance Excellence

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Define quality standards and metrics for the current project/product.
  • Work with all stakeholders to review, close, and agree upon quality metrics.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of testing activities.
  • Provide meaningful metrics and reports on test coverage, test results, and defect trends.

Test Management

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Define testing strategies, including manual and automated testing approaches.
  • Conduct functional, regression, compatibility performance, and system testing.
  • Execute automated test scripts and analyze results.
  • Identify, isolate, and document defects with clear and concise steps to reproduce.

Quality Management

  • Create and maintain test cases/test scripts/test scenarios and execute them.
  • Conduct functional, usability, regression, stress, and full-cycle testing of software systems.
  • Coordinate with SMs, POs, BAs, CMs, and Scrum teams to ensure all software builds meet QE standards.
  • Assist Software Engineers in isolating, investigating, and identifying root causes by tracking results of different scenarios and preconditions through logs and other references.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and software engineers in requirement discussions and provide feedback from a testability perspective.
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
  • Enforce defect management procedures within project teams.
  • Ensure project team compliance with testing processes and best practices.
  • Provide testing effort assessments such as identification of test phases, level of effort, and duration of testing activities.
  • Participate in strategic planning and process improvement initiatives of Quality Engineering group.
  • Contribute to the overall vision of the Empower Teams Platform.
  • Accountable for Quality Automation planning and testing of applications for assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain automated scripts for all product testing.
  • Develop manual and automated test cases/scripts.

Automation

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
  • Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation framework.

Project Management

  • Define project scope, timelines, resource allocation, success measures, and other necessary reporting requirements for each project undertaken.
  • Manage project budget and expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in gathering project requirements.
  • Ensure team compliance with set software development methodologies and best practices.

Stakeholder Management

  • Identify and engage key internal and external stakeholders to better understand their needs and expectations related to software development initiatives.
  • Maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders and keep them informed on new information regarding processes and software development updates.
  • Proactively address stakeholder issues and concerns to help build positive relationships and satisfaction with the Development Team at all times.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and scrum master, to understand requirements and ensure effective testing coverage.
  • Provide input into project timelines and deliverables based on testing efforts.

Technical Leadership

  • Mentor and guide junior QA team members.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in QA best practices.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Perform any administrative or non-administrative duties as assigned by any of the Company’s representatives from time to time through direct written order or verbal assignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; hands-on experience in building dashboards via Excel; working knowledge of data visualization tools preferred.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and must be able to initiate, lead, and work under minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Continuous improvement mindset; comfortable challenging the status quo and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Automation experience required.
