What You'll Do
The VantageCloud Lake Testing Team is responsible for ensuring the quality of the Teradata database within the cloud space. Key areas in our work include automation, test script execution, and system configuration. Projects can be in such exciting areas as:
- Provisioning and using service APIs
- Separation of Compute and Storage
- Automation
Who You'll Work With
In addition to being a valued part of our group, you will also be part of a smaller, agile team composed of junior and senior engineers working in one of the workflows.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
- Experience working in AGILE software development model through team project-based coursework.
- Quickly able to learn, leverage, and incorporate new technology and methodologies.
- Application of theoretical knowledge in interpreting data and results by systematically breaking down information in a communicable manner.
- Responsible for all phases of software development including prototype, design specifications, test specifications, unit/feature test, performance validation, regression testing, implementation, and customer support.
- Concise and clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Excels within a team environment of engineers, architects, and management.
What You Will Bring
- Coursework requiring SQL and application of RDBMS or cloud-based concepts and best practices
- Coursework requiring development in languages such as Python, or Java
- Experience working in Linux environments
